Position: Monitoring Center Agent

Edgeworth Security provides 24/7 remote monitoring services and is seeking dependable, energetic people to join our team as monitoring center agents.

• Edgeworth agents protect our clients by deterring criminal activity from our all-hours monitoring center in Pittsburgh, PA while also providing exceptional customer service to the clients we guard.
• Agents must be on site in our Pittsburgh monitoring center where you will receive training to help you learn new skills and succeed in your role.
• We will also offer continuous training during the course of your employment with us.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (off 376 near airport)

Travel: None. This is an in-person only position, no remote positions available.

Benefits:

• Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 increments paid after 90 days and 6 months)
• $17.33 to $19.05 starting hourly wage range based on shift with a realistic annual compensation earning of up to $50,000+.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Provide monitoring and incident response services to protect client locations from intrusion, theft and other unauthorized or criminal activities
• Perform scheduled remote patrols of client sites
• Address issues and events as they arise
• Dispatch security personnel and law enforcement as needed
• Document incidents in reports for management and clients

Qualifications:

• Computer proficiency and skillful in the use of MS Office a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail with critical thinking
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
• Work a minimum of one weekend shift (Sat or Sun) per week
• Ability to multi-task
• Professional demeanor
• Self-starter capable of working individually and as a strong contributor to the team

Important Considerations:

• Night and weekend shifts will be required
• Due to the nature of the work, discretion is very important
